Our Catchment Area

This area includes the villages of Little Haywood, Colton, Colwich, Handsacre, Armitage and Hill Ridware.

The school has acquired a strong reputation for enabling the young people in our care to flourish.

We are delighted that so many families are choosing The Hart School as their number one choice!

Our focus is to provide the highest quality education to secure the best life chances for our students once they leave the School.  A successful student will leave us prepared for their next stage in education or employment by understanding the world that we live in, being curious and keen to develop further by learning from others around them.

Our aims for each student are the same – to provide meaningful opportunities for them to learn, grow, develop and aspire, both academically and personally.  We offer a wide range of courses.  In addition to the traditional academic subjects, we offer vocational and work-related courses to prepare our students for their chosen careers.

Our calm and welcoming environment allows our students to make excellent progress and achieve academically, whilst developing their character through an extensive extra-curricular programme and superb pastoral support. We celebrate our diversity and are proud of who we are.

We have a flourishing and vibrant Sixth Form which offers a gateway to university, apprenticeships or employment/training.

All students, no matter how academic they are, will do well at The Hart School We provide support for those students who struggle academically and those who excel will be challenged.

By developing a love of learning in our students, we will inspire and prepare them for the next stage of their lives.
