Nathan Lewis
Vice Principal - Behaviour and Attitudes
I became Assistant Principal responsible for Attendance in September 2020 having worked as at Hart School since May 2017.
Our attendance target for all students is 97%.
This level of attendance will enable students to make the best possible progress and will therefore have a direct impact on their futures.
Supporting pupils and parents by working together to address any in-school barriers to attendance is the focus of the Attendance Team as a whole, along with celebrating ongoing success and rewarding students for improved attendance.
Rebecca Kirby
Attendance Improvement Manager
I joined The Hart School in May 2022 as a Student Support Officer within the Pastoral Team and became Attendance Intervention Manager in February 2026. With over 15 years' experience in education, I am passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to attendance and achieve their full potential. I work closely with students, families, school staff, and external agencies to provide tailored support and interventions that help every child engage successfully with school. I am proud to be part of the caring and supportive team at The Hart School, where every child matters.
Rufus & Arlo
Wellbeing Coach
I have been supporting the Attendance team since I joined The Hart in January 2023. I am often found welcoming students at the gate in the morning as they come into school, providing my support with emotional wellbeing, and making my way around the school building to support with positive punctuality.
I don’t have an email address set up at the moment, but please get in touch with my colleagues at attendance@hartschool.org.uk if you need anything.
